ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a Computer Systems Administrator Lead that is highly motivated and will support the commonwealth and L3Harris with their proficient technical skills and leadership qualities. The Computer Systems Administrator Lead is to support the operation and maintenance of the project and lead a team of Computer System Administrators.
This role is responsible for computer software installation of patches, maintenance and configuration of records. You will provide a single point of contact for the Computer System Administrators, preform daily startups and shutdowns in reference to the squadron operations, provide oversite, resolve problems and conduct repairs and replacements on ground.
To be successful in this role and to best leverage the opportunities provided by L3Harris, some skills & experience ideal applicants will bring include;
- Positive Vetting Australian Defence Security Clearence
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to install patches, configure records and gain software licenses.
- Prior experience in aerospace or Defence industry
- Skilled with troubleshooting and maintenance of complex systems.
- Strong communication skills orally and written.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing requirements and priorities
