Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE - 12 MONTH FIXED-TERM CONTRACT

The Lead Consultant People Development is responsible for providing learning solutions and specialist learning advice to build the core people skills required across the Australia and New Zealand region to deliver on Rabobank’s strategy and purpose and grow our people now and for the future.

As a member of the Human Resources Culture, Talent & People Development Team, and working closely with the global and local learning communities and broader ANZ regional HR team, the role:

  • Contributes to the development of skilled and capable people through the development and management of a globally aligned, value add core skills development offering that addresses key business and team core skills gaps.
  • Embeds a learning culture and growth mindset across the business through a globally aligned learning framework, advice, and communication.
  • Equips and empowers our people to take ownership of and drive their career development and growth.

Key priorities for the term of the assignment include:

  • Review, refresh and deliver the ANZ regional and Australian orientation programs.
  • Conduct a learning needs analysis to identify the core skills gaps across the ANZ region and implement the learning solutions to address.
  • Review and enhance the tools and resources to equip and empower our people to take ownership of and drive their career development and growth.
  • Support the design, development and/or delivery of the ANZ regional leadership development programs as required.

In addition, this role will keep abreast of, leverage and promote the global Rabo Academy, Percipio online learning library and Workday LMS learning offerings within the ANZ region, and provide coverage, as needed, for the deployment, administration and reporting of mandatory learning.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL HAVE:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, adult learning and development, organisation development, related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in a corporate learning and development role preferably in Financial Services / a large global or complex environment.
  • Experience providing learning needs analysis, learning procurement and design, facilitation and/or delivery and evaluation of learning solutions for audiences at various levels and stages.
  • Thorough knowledge of contemporary adult learning principles and methodologies, learning management systems and eLearning authoring tools.
  • Experience in curating and developing online learning solutions to support employee self- directed learning.
  • Facilitation in a face to face, virtual or hybrid environment to various audience sizes, skill level and seniority.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Excellent stakeholder and vendor management and influencing skills.
  • Strong planning, organisation and attention to detail with a track record of delivering projects on time, within budget and in line with agreed measurable learning outcomes.
