This position provides consulting services by working directly with the customer to identify and recommend solutions that solve the customers strategic business goals.

EDUCATION:

  • Requires a Bachelors degree.

EXPERIENCE:

  • Requires five to eight years of direct work experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in planning, designing and deploying complex telecommunications and data infrastructures.
  • Background includes business thought leadership, needs analysis, solutions design, infrastructure and application analysis, operational process development, hands on skills with network management solutions (tooling - automation), troubleshooting and documentation.
  • Possesses strong analytical and problem solving skills, the ability to work individually and within teams delivering on the requirements of the consultative engagement.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate, confer and provides consulting services and manages project activities from client identification through final invoicing.
  • Works on billable consulting service projects.
  • Demonstrates broad product knowledge with the customer within a specific discipline. Works independently on highly complex projects , or may work in a team as assigned by the project leader.
  • Technical responsibilities will include problem identification, system architecture definition, hardware/software specification and/or design, implementation, testing, client training, and deployment.
  • Leads all technical aspects of delivery, customer satisfaction, and accurate timekeeping for billing purposes, on projects where the Consultant is the only technical resource or lead technical resource.
  • Demonstrates expert knowledge of principles, theories and concepts in applicable discipline, plus high level of working knowledge in other related fields.
  • May assist less experienced peers when needed.
  • Work is performed under minimal direction.
  • Continual learning and self development that enjoys mentoring others, and consistently produces at a high level of productivity.

  • The ideal candidate will be able to establish a Trusted Advisor relationship with clients and within the AT&T Consulting team.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to support Proposal Development for engagements that are being pursued.
