Description:

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • excellent skills in SQL and Python
  • experience in building and deploying analytical models from end to end
  • experience building regression, propensity and predictive models that can be built into the systems
  • analytical capabilities for assessing performance and success
  • excellent communication skills for working with other teams and sharing insights with stakeholders
  • line management experience desirable, ideally having coached and mentored

Responsibilities:

As the Customer Data Scientist, you will be reporting to the Head of Data Science and you will work on:

  • statistical modelling within the customer analytics space to provide insight on customer behaviour
  • this includes customer regression models, prediction models and forecasting for customer behaviour across the business
  • personalising the customer shopping experience online through past behaviours and predictive modelling
  • building and working with models from scratch, across neural networking, segmentation, regression, propensity to buy/churn/lapse
  • analyse the performance and success of statistical modelling, personalisation and marketing performance
  • overseeing a junior member of the team and coaching them
