Description:
PROJECT AND TEAM
We are looking for an experienced hands on Lead Data Engineer / hands-on data architect to support our client (Healthcare) on their data journey. A development project affecting the entire organization is underway, with a significant part of it being the rebuilding of their data platform. In this role, you have a unique opportunity to be in a key position in creating and managing the data architecture from the ground up. Our client does not have a senior data specialist of their own, so we expect strong technical skills and the ability to act as an architect and a lead developer from you.
The project is divided into three phases, with the first phase starting in Q2/Q3. Project will start with smaller allocation so even if you are available after summer, please apply!
In the first phase of the project, one critical sub-system will be detached from an existing monolithic system handling most critical business processes of the customer. Reports are currently being generated from the system’s data using Quicksight, which need to remain stable and reliable throughout the migration/development project. Quicksight experience is a plus.

- Ensure that personal data management practices follow GDPR, and other regulations for sensitive personal data
- Participate in the management and development of DevOps cloud infrastructure.
- Work mostly remotely, but with 1-2 days of on-site work in the Helsinki city center per week.
