Responsibilities:

  • Design, deliver and maintain the conceptual and logical data models and ensure the physical models align to our agreed structures and patterns. Ensuring adherence to regulatory and data governance requirements across our various business platforms and enabling functions within the Australian Unity Group and its partners.
  • The Lead Data Modeler will provide direct support to the Data Domain Architect for the enterprise data model, enterprise data store/warehouse, information management, and advanced data analytics capabilities.
  • The role will provide data modelling thought leadership to cross-functional teams in the areas of advanced data techniques, including data access, data integration, data visualization, data discovery, data layer design and implementation to enable optimal extraction of information to support business objectives.
  • Through the implementation of a data modelling governance framework, the Data Modeler will work with a range of stakeholders across the business and technology to guide the organisation toward a defined future state with sustainable data driven outcomes.
  • The role will also provide guidance and mentorship to the other team members within the wider Data Technology team to upskill themselves into Data Modelling domain to better manage the delivery timelines of the various projects and hence bring about awareness and collaboration on the Enterprise Data Modelling for consistent view.
