Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Lead Development Quality Assurance (DQA) Engineer conducts independent assessment of engineering compliance to systems, rules, and processes to ensure fulfillment of internal and external requirements. They will ensure that projects and products are capable and will meet applicable standards and requirements. The Lead DQA Engineer has a comprehensive in-depth understanding of industry and regulatory requirements, standards, and practices in aerospace systems, software, and hardware.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor of Science in engineering from an accredited university or college
- At least 3 years of experience in engineering, quality, process assurance or compliance
Responsibilities:
- Assure that products developed by GE Aerospace are the result of suitable, rigorous, and structured processes
- Conduct assessments / audits of engineering development activities to gauge compliance with applicable regulatory, industrial, and company standards including, but not limited to:
