Responsibilities:
As the Lead DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for setting the standards, direction, and technology choices for how Staples automates the builds, deployments, monitoring, and alerting for all the Enterprise IT applications and systems. The DevOps team will define and implement best practices and blueprints to be used by the various Engineering groups across IT. The lead will need to socialize and evangelize the best practices within the organization to raise the profile of the DevOps group and have the group be seen as an essential resource for any Engineering group. Being able to work with both legacy and modern processes will be key for this role as well as being able to work in with both on premise and cloud technologies. The lead will be responsible for growing and developing the DevOps associates within the team.
