Job Status: Full-Time Permanent
We are presently recruiting a Lead Electrical Technician for our clients in County Limerick. Working with senior factory management, you would manage a team of 2 Electrical fitters, you will have proven experience working with automated manufacturing or industrial systems, including PLCs / robotics. You will manage the overall activities of the department and will be responsible for all inspections of electrical equipment on site. This is a full-time position, based on site in Newcastlewest, County Limerick

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCES:

  • A minimum of 5 years work experience in a production environment.
  • Qualified Electrical Fitter with third level qualification.
  • Strong PLC programming knowledge.
  • Strong knowledge of automation, pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on automated machinery.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues with automated systems.
  • Implement upgrades and modifications to automation systems.
  • enhance efficiency, reliability, and safety of all machinery.
  • Lead on all preventative maintenance approach with all equipment.
  • Ensuring PM plans as per machine supplier
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and system
  • Provide training to production staff.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols.
  • Maintain employee performance reviews, Setting and sharing best practice.
