Description:
The Process & Pipeline Services business delivers In-line Inspection services to operators of oil & gas pipelines around the globe.
Reporting to the Electronics Team Leader, the Lead Electronic Hardware Engineer leads the specification, design, development and testing of hardware electronics for our pipeline inspection products. You develop innovative solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams. You play a pivotal technical lead role in the development of products and services for our customers.
As an Lead Electronic Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Owning the design and engineering of our hardware electronics.
- Specifying, designing, developing, modifying and evaluating electronic parts, components or integrated circuitry for electronic equipment and other hardware systems
- Creation of high-quality product documentation in accordance with ISO9000
- Developing and modifying basic firmware for FPGAs and Microcontrollers
- Taking the technical lead on design activities to support product development and improvements
- Communicating and presenting to senior stakeholders to share information, shape strategy and provide technical guidance
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions for the business

Responsibilities:
As an Lead Electronic Hardware Engineer, you will be responsible for:

To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a Bachelor or Master degree in electronics engineering or equivalent.
- Have enhanced knowledge of schematics, simulation and layout developments.
- Demonstrate complex hardware developments in an in-line inspection environment.
- Basic Programming Skills in VHDL and C
- Be skilled at communicating complex technical information to customers and teams with varying levels of technical understanding.
- Be interested in self-development and innovations in the industry.
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence others and lead project teams.
- Have excellent oral and written communication skills in Englis
