Responsibilities:
HOW DOES THE ROLE IMPACT THE ORGANIZATION?
The Lead Engineer - Digital Workplace Endpoint Management plays a pivotal role in ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of technology systems that underpin business operations at Raymond James. This role demands an experienced professional with proven expertise in communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving to support the Global RJ Enterprise endpoint environment capabilities.
WHAT WILL YOUR ROLE BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
- Technical Leadership and Guidance: Provide strategic direction and technical leadership in the design, implementation, and optimization of digital workplace endpoint management solutions.
- Project Management and Delivery: Lead and oversee the execution of endpoint management projects and security initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to quality standards, and alignment with business objectives.
- Endpoint Security Implementation and Compliance: Develop and enforce endpoint security policies, procedures, and controls to safeguard corporate assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- System Automation and Efficiency: Identify opportunities for automation and process improvement within the endpoint management environment to enhance operational efficiency and scalability and to enforce security standards.
- Monitoring and Performance Management: Implement robust monitoring and performance management practices to proactively identify and address issues, adapt security measures and strategies, optimize system performance, and minimize downtime.
- Participating in security reviews and audits to assess the effectiveness of security controls and recommend improvements.
- Providing critical tier 3 support when needed and/or in an on-call rotation.
- Undertaking other digital workplace accountabilities as assigned.
