QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering
- Min. 5 years of relevant automotive experience
- Turbomachinery and Internal Combustion Engine / Powertrain expertise
- Engineering leader with proven experience in direct customer interface. Prior product validation and launch experience, product development and component designProven problem-solving skills, including ability to interpret data, define actions, and implement solutions to ensure flawless launches
Responsibilities:
- Directly managing and mentoring a dedicated team of development engineers, designers, and technicians
- Defining top-down turbocharger functional requirements and design specifications
- Liaising with customer and acting as their key technical counterpart on the projects
- Leading the development and launch of new product designs and applications for our customers following automotive project management standards
- Simulating and qualifying full products to meet customer needs
- Ensuring flawless product launches, considering performance, cost, reliability, APQP, and timing
