Bullish through its German subsidiaries (Bullish DE) have applied for a crypto custody and principal brokerage/proprietary trading licenses. In line with these commitments we are expanding into Germany.

Reports to:
Director, Technology Operations
We are looking for a strong leader that is passionate about trading technology & the digital asset industry. This role will give the candidate hands-on experience working with the latest cloud technologies and blockchain platforms. It requires someone that not only has strong technical ability, but a strong understanding of the finance industry and trading lifecycle. You will work closely with the product and engineering teams, as well as customers, to help build a world class regulated exchange.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Part of a 24x7 operations team responsible for service availability, operations execution, and management
  • Monitor system availability, latency, data integrity, capacity, and overall health
  • Effectively escalate service outages and drive incident management process
  • Track transactions throughout the trade and custody lifecycle by reviewing system logs
  • Respond to Helpdesk queries related to system or business queries from internal colleagues and external clients
  • Channel product/feature related queries to the product development teams
  • Post-execution for trade processing, settlement, reconciliation, and reporting functions
  • Identification, investigation and resolution of errors, discrepancies and queries promptly to ensure timely settlements
  • Reply to queries from local regulators

Experience / Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or above
  • 5+ years of relevant working experience running a team with a strong technical and operational background
  • Prior experience in blockchain/ Crypto Exchange/ Infrastructure/ Cloud (AWS or GCP) based environment is preferred
  • Must be able to multitask, problem-solve and have great attention to detail
  • Team orientated with ability to take ownership of the operations function and prioritise effectively
  • Comfortable working with the Linux operating system and be able to view and interpret transaction/system logs
  • Analytical and able to problem solve logically
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to handle multi-party, complex issues spanning technical and business domains
