As a Lead Engineer within the Thermal Systems Design team, you will be involved in development of new technology for future jet engines. Your primary responsibility will be to develop thermal designs for rotor/stator engine components. Beyond rotor/stator components, you will also have opportunity to contribute to the thermal design of other engine parts, including combustor, high pressure turbine and heat exchangers. This diversity allows you to make a significant impact across various engine systems. You will identify challenges, propose effective solutions, and demonstrate your proficiency in thermal design and analysis.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • MSc/BSc in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Computer Science
  • Understanding of heat transfer and fluid mechanics
  • Confirmed experience in an Engineering position
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English

Responsibilities:

  • Execute the thermal design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles
  • Execute the projects, while managing program schedule and financial work scope to meet business needs
  • Prepare and present technical data on expert forums internally
  • Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures
