Description:

[What the role is]

Contribute to:

  • Achieving Community Chest’s philanthropy and engagement goals, including mobilisation of donations and resources for the social service sector.
  • Facilitating and supporting fundraising and engagement partnerships with corporate and/or individual accounts.
  • Support the teams in their deliverables for task in relations to fundraising and engagement, events and daily operational matters such as donation processing.
  • Working with various business units within NCSS to develop synergy between engagement strategies and achieve fundraising target.

[What you will be working on]

Fundraising and engagement

  • Support the division’s initiatives and/or campaigns to achieve fundraising targets through existing donations platforms (e.g., outright donations and SHARE programme, engagement activities, fundraising events etc.).
  • Manage and support the annual KPIs assigned by Head of Department (HOD) and support department’s goals relating to fundraising, donor engagement and volunteerism facilitation.
  • Compile relevant progress report for assigned donor segments as and when required, for purpose of tracking and forward planning of data-driven engagement strategies.

Operational and Administrative Support

  • Provide support to the internal department(s) in administrative functions such as processing of donations, designation of donations, maintenance of data and profile accuracy in the system, operational matters and finance processes such as raising approval of requirements (AOR), reconciliation of financial bank statements and donations.
  • Provide support to the internal department(s) in establishing and/or strengthening the engagement and relationship with donors, thus enhancing donor experience and achieving donor success and satisfaction.

Others

  • May be involved in the preparation and maintenance of legal agreements or memorandum of understanding/ agreements relating to a project, partnership or donation.
  • May be involved in the establishment of standard operating procedures (SOP) and process workflows as and when required.
  • Collaborate and cultivate positive working relationships with internal stakeholders within NCSS, to achieve the philanthropic and engagement outcomes.
  • Participate and support department/division events and programmes, both internal and external.
  • Exercise compliance of integrity in matters of people, processes, procurement and relationships (vendors, suppliers, partners etc.)
  • Any other duties as assigned by HOD that are aligned to Community Chest’s strategic purposes.

Special Certification(s):

  • Knowledge of social services and experience with public service procurement practices will be an added advantage.
