About our Team
While the role itself is an individual self-starter position
with no direct reports, there is a group of analysts working on other GTM brands that report into the Director, Finance. We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running and thrives of stakeholder management and relationship management. This is a highly commercial role with a clear path to future growth.
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for the position of Lead Analyst within Lexis Nexis Risk Solutions Group’s Finance team, supporting our Nextens (NL Tax Software) business. The role will report to the Director, Finance and will be based in our London office (Bishopsgate). There will be some travel required (roughly once every 1-2 months) to the Nextens office in Amsterdam.
This is a highly commercial and operational finance role, working closely with finance and business managers at a range of levels and up to the Executive level. You will provide decision support with a path to the Senior Leadership Team (SLT) as a clear career progression. You will be responsible for ensuring that all decisions are taken with proper understanding of their financial consequences. This role will be critical in developing short-term forecasts and future strategic plans for the business.

Responsibilities

  • Providing input to Director Finance, Managing Director and commercial business teams, playing a key role supporting the Nextens SLT.
  • Producing and interpret regular financial reports, and drive appropriate operational response
  • Leading budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring a rigorous and accurate process with , understanding and communication of risks and issues
  • Partnering closely with the wider Finance team, including centralised teams Accounting Services, Reporting & Analysis, and the Global Transaction teams.
