Description:
We are hiring a Lead Fleet Technician for our Canadian Cash Logistics fleet & diesel business. The position will be based in our Mississauga Branch.

Your responsibilities
As a lead hand in our diesel/fleet department your duties will include:
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve accident and maintenance issues
- Coordinates with operations leadership to ensure vehicle availability over 90%
- Ensures that fleet vehicles are properly maintained and ensures all repairs are tracked in accordance with our accepted program and/or process(s)
- Works with operations leadership and vendors to ensure that assets meet regulatory inspection/certification requirements. CVI and PM schedules
- Maintain and order stock parts as needed
- Maintain overall functionality cleanliness and safety of the garage
- Present opportunities to reduce Repair & Maintenance costs and the overall cost of asset operation
What we are looking for
- Possession of a valid 310T
- Must be able to work with and in an armed and unionized environment
- Must have a valid full G driver’s license
- Minimum 5 years experience in fleet maintenance
- Knowledge of equipment maintenance or trade license (310T)
- Thorough understanding of transport maintenance and industry in general
- Strong technical skills in software applications such as - Outlook, Excel, Word
- Strong Electrical and Diagnostic scan tool Knowledge.

- Must be able to balance multiple tasks and prioritize on a daily basis
- Flexible working hours
- Must be comfortable with a fast paced environment
- Ability to manage a team of technicians
