With several Flavorite sites located across Victoria, this role is based at our Tatura location which currently employs over 350 employees.
We are currently seeking a Lead Forklift Operator in a full-time capacity, to join our busy, growing, and collaborative team.
Reporting directly to the Logistics Supervisor, the Lead Forklift Operator is responsible for performing a variety of core functions to support the Logistics Supervisor with the delivery of goods and materials to ensure the quality and timeliness of customer orders meet expectations.
This role is a Wednesday to Saturday shift so the successful candidate will be able to enjoy a 3-day weekend, every week! The work life balances this role offers is almost unheard of!

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Operate forklift in a fast-paced packing facility
  • Ensure working area and surrounding areas are kept free of rubbish and trip hazards
  • Prioritise daily tasks in accordance with logistics requirements
  • Organise all paperwork required for loads ensuring the highest level of accuracy
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure daily loads are met
  • Perform higher duties in the absence of the Logistics Supervisor
  • Assist the Logistics Supervisor with the orientation, training and development of new logistics team members
  • Monitor the performance of current team members and provide retraining as required
  • Assisting in other departments including packing, as needed to support the team
