We are looking for an experienced Gameplay Programmer to join our development team to help develop a new AAA title. LAST SENTINEL is a AAA, open-world action game that brings to life sophisticated player-driven gameplay, graphical realism, and mature, thoughtful storytelling.
As a Lead Gameplay Programmer at Lucid your main responsibilities will be directing the the team investigating, designing, and implementing a wide stack of multiplayer gameplay features.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • Proven leadership experience.
  • Experience working on multiple games for console and PC.
  • Excellent C/C++ knowledge.
  • Multiplayer experience.
  • Experience with AI, Animation, and Gameplay Programming.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with the production team and technical director to plan work.
  • Lead and manage the day to day running of a systems programming team.
  • Take ownership of the design and development of key framework systems for a multiplayer title.
  • Support your team in the implementation of reliable, maintainable, and bug-free code.
  • Bring technical expertise and experience to the challenges of multiplayer game development.
  • Hold 1:1s with team members and support them in their career development
  • Advise and mentor junior staff on best practice in multiplayer game development.

The interview process for the Lead Gameplay Programmer roles is made up of 3 stages:

  • First interview (45 - 60 minutes) – An interview to discuss your experience and working history relating to the position with members of our programming team. In return, we will provide a full overview of the role, life at the studio as well as answer any questions you may have.
  • Second Interview (30- 45 minutes) – A chat with our CTO and Studio Technical Director, to discuss your experience and talk about the technical aspects of the role.
  • Final interview (30 minutes) – A final Interview with our Studio Head and Studio Production Director. This will be a chance for you to get to know the Senior Management team and all the things that make Lucid, Lucid! You will have a lot of opportunities to ask any questions about the studio and Culture
