Lead Go Developer

We’re searching for a Lead Go Developer to join our remote team and spearhead our backend migration plan to cater to our existing and future clients.
In your role as a Lead Go Developer, your primary responsibility will be to transition from the old backend to the new one, while also designing and implementing the new backend architecture. This position demands proficiency in Go Language, cloud platforms, and Google Cloud APIs. You’ll be working in close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including project managers, frontend developers, and database administrators, to ensure smooth project execution and delivery.

REQUIREMENTS

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing backend systems using Go Language
• At least 1 year of experience in leading software development teams with demonstrated leadership skills
• Proficiency with cloud platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform
• Familiarity with Google Cloud APIs, including GKE, Anthos Service Mesh(or Istio), Cloud Tasks, Cloud PubSub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, Cloud Workflows, Cloud SQL, Cloud Storage
• Experience with SQL and database management
• Expertise in developing and deploying containerized applications on the cloud
• Experience in media processing, particularly videos
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills with a minimum of Upper-Intermediate level fluency (B2+)

• New backend architecture design and implementation for the migration project
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams for smooth project execution and delivery
• Development and maintenance of backend systems using Go Language and other programming languages, as necessary
• Development and deployment of containerized applications on cloud platforms in line with project requirements
• Assurance of backend systems meeting security and performance standards
• Leadership and mentorship for a team of developers, offering guidance and support for their technical and professional development
