Responsibilities:

  • Lead the assigned shift in the regrading of produce to internal and external customer specifications.
  • Support management and supervisors in the allocation of work to ensure a smooth and efficient operation of packaging and regrading during scheduled shifts.
  • Ensure all tasks and processes are scheduled and completed and on time.
  • Ensure equipment and labour hours are utilized in accordance with Company policies while maintaining standards for service, quality, accuracy, efficiency, food safety and health and safety.
  • Ensure accurate and timely organization of workflow for shipping and receiving functions for the Regrade department.
  • Effective management of inventory levels for product, supplies and labour.
  • Support the department management team in meeting transfer requirements.
  • Verify and ensure product quantities align with invoices and transfers.
  • Ensure completion of product labeling.
  • Support the allocation and storage of product, factoring temperature, timing, location and specification
  • Maintain product quality throughout the packaging process and report any concerns to department management.
