Job Description

As the Lead Hardware Engineer for Photovoltaic Mounting Structures (f/m/d) at Enpal, you’ll be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions for solar panel mounting systems. Your technical expertise will shape the future of sustainable energy infrastructure.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Extensive hands-on experience and deep knowledge in product development or hardware design of mechanical components for PV systems.
- Strong knowledge of CAD software (e.g. AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and familiarity with industry standards.
- Innovative mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Good knowledge of English (CEFR B2-C1) and German (CEFR B1).
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and engineering of photovoltaic mounting structures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Conduct structural analysis and simulations to validate system integrity and durability.
- Develop detailed technical drawings and specifications for manufacturing and installation.
- Manage multiple projects from conception through completion, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and designers.
