JOB SUMMARY

Reporting to the Regional Head, Strategic People Program, the incumbent of this position will be responsible in managing the regional Enterprise Human Capital Management (HCM) system, deploying and implementing HCM related solutions and streamlining on existing HR processes. This role also supports in educating and training all relevant users on using and maintaining HCM effectively, as well as provide on-going support and advice related to the operation of HCM to the stakeholders in the Asia Pacific, India and China region.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or its equivalent.
  • Good domain knowledge of HR and employee life cycle management and Information Technology acquired through experience.
  • Specialized knowledge and expertise in HCM Platforms with mastery over project management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in managing HRIS operations;
  • Experience in planning and leading HCM related projects with limited oversight;
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and assignments in a time pressure environment is a must;
  • Ability to supervise and work with cross-functional project teams;
  • Strong Analytical skills with the ability to solve difficult HR application and process related problems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders is a must. Experience working with persons from varied cultural backgrounds is advantageous.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team is a must.
  • Ability to develop process driven solutions to reoccurring issues is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and spoken English language skills. Proficiency in Mandarin, Japanese and/or any South-East Asian language would be advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead in the evaluation of Human Capital Management (HCM) related solution and product offerings to address significant business problems and take advantage of potential opportunities that may shape the future of HR. Design solutions, prepare proposals and recommend the application of these solutions that makes a significant impact. Assist management to prioritize the deployment of HCM solution for the best return on investment.
  • Lead the deployment and implementation of HCM related systems to ensure successful execution of project plans. Advises management in matters pertaining to projects and plans. Provides performance reporting to ensure that deadlines and objectives are met.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders in the region to promote correctness in the application of relevant HCM technology and the associated streamlining of HR processes where relevant. Provide advice to resolve existing system limitation to improve work process. Work directly with cross functional teams, internal and external experts to ensure success.
  • Ensure all relevant groups are educated and trained on how to use and maintain HCM effectively. Ensure training processes and materials are in place. Oversee on-going support for the operation of HCM and ensure it is adequate. Ensure the necessary data governance processes and procedure are adequate to manage HR data quality. Implement capabilities to produce and disseminate reports to gain insights and make sound business decisions in the management of human capital.
  • Maintains expertise in HCM standards and practices. Assist in the implementation of policies and procedures to ensure quality assurance in HCM operations. This includes the implementation of system administration as well as security and access administration.
  • Work with all relevant groups (e.g. external service providers, vendors, internal IT or HR teammates) to ensure currency of functionalities and the smooth running and operations of the HCM service and platform. This includes the diagnosing and correcting of system related problems and uphold a high level of expertise in the regular review and application of HCM upgrades and patches to safeguard the organization’s investment.
  • Manage any other duties as assigned by the Manager.
