Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Compensation experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

  • Functional compensation plan design experience in a large, regulated industry (Financial Services preferred).
  • Ability to formulate compensation design recommendations based on data driven observations.
  • Excellent consulting, influencing, collaboration and partnering abilities with business executives/leaders and HR partners.
  • Ability to create and confidently deliver presentations to senior/executive leaders.
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Finance or Human Resources experience.

Responsibilities:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Compensation Consultant in the HR Total Rewards Incentive Design team supporting the Consumer Lending business. Learn more about our career areas and lines of business at wellsfargojobs.com .

In this role, you will:

  • Responsible for coordinating the annual incentive compensation plan design process from a strategic design perspective supporting Consumer Lending.
  • Partner across business channels, compliance, legal, risk, human resources, finance, and other partner teams to evaluate strategic incentive design changes from a variety of lenses.
  • Gather incentive design feedback from various stakeholders and develop recommendations.
  • Develop presentation materials for design working team and executive leadership.
  • Act as a support partner with Incentive Compensation Administration team and technology partners to communicate and deliver compensation plan requirements for technology buildout.
  • Support divisional business managers by addressing compensation related questions and feedback.

Additional responsibilities may include:

  • Lead cross functional teams to strategize, plan, and execute a variety of incentive compensation programs, services, and initiatives.
  • Drive accountability for assigned incentive compensation initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate.
  • Review strategic approaches and effectiveness of Consumer Lending incentive design and business performance.
  • Perform assessments through fact finding and data requiring creative approaches to solving complex issues and develop appropriate solutions or recommendations.
  • Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of business group’s functional area or products, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans.
  • Collaborate and consult with executive leaders to drive strategic initiatives.
