UGL Defence recently commenced the Asset Management, Operations and Maintenance contract for the Defence Fuels Network. We are recruiting a Lead Integrity Engineer to join our business in what is an exciting and unique opportunity to work in the Australia Defence environment to support the national security requirements of the Nation.

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

The Lead Integrity Engineer, reporting to the Engineering & Asset Manager, will ideally be based in our Defence Hub in North Sydney. This role is responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Ensure the integrity and reliability of assets, facilities, and systems in the network
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Develop and implement inspection and maintenance plans and coordinate the necessary inspections and testing
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings related to asset integrity
  • National coverage with a requirement to visit sites and meet with stakeholders
  • Lead and mentor another integrity Engineer, in a small, close-knit team

  • Degree qualified Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, or similar field); CPEng with ability to perform fitness for service assessments
  • Extensive experience in integrity engineering within oil & gas, petrochemical or power generation
  • Familiarity with industry codes, standards and regulatory requirements with an in-depth knowledge of principles, techniques and methodologies related to integrity
  • Proven experience conducting risk assessments and managed multiple projects simultaneously
  • Currently hold, or willing to hold relevant security clearanc
