Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
This is a highly technical and hands-on position requiring the selected candidate to both lead and participate in multiple team environments and to provide independent efforts to all aspects of system integration including design, needs analysis, design review, testing, implementation, and validation. The candidate should be a self-starter and be capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
Seeking applicants from the Eastern US time zone to support our global divisions in the US & Europe.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:
- 5+ years current Windows systems engineering experience (Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Microsoft SQL) and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity and demonstrated ability with multiple location, enterprise networking (TCP/IP, routers, firewalls, switching, etc.) Experience with Zero-Trust Networking environments is a plus.
- Motivated and ability to quickly learn new technologies, applications, and principles.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and written; able to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve complex technical issues and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or equivalent combination of training & work experience.

Responsibilities:
The candidate will have demonstrated knowledge and experience in system architecture and engineering disciplines. Specific technical knowledge of enterprise level networking and systems is required. The candidate will be responsible for:
- Designing requirements-based technical solutions in support of new projects, cloud migrations, and M&A activity. Leading the transition of the solution and design into production.
- Deploying, configuring, and administering systems in Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
- Installing new/rebuilding existing systems and configuring hardware, peripherals, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements.
- Expert level operational knowledge of products like Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft OS (Client & Server), SQL Server, Zscaler, Fortinet, etc.
- Monitoring, analyzing, and resolving incidents for infrastructure running in Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services and on-premise environments.
- Mentoring teammates by helping them learn new technologies where needed.
- Providing rapid operational support, troubleshooting, and resolution to production equipment.
- Rigorous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
