JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for assisting the Line Service Manager in ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service by Line Technicians to pilots, passengers and crew members. Serves as a day-to-day lead for all functions of the Line Department and upholds Maverick Air Center s high standards of quality in workmanship and customer service. May assist the Line Service Manager with interviewing, training, and evaluating performance of Line Technicians. Assist the Line Service Manager with ensuring safe, compliant and efficient fixed-base operator (FBO) operation for aircraft fueling, ground handling and customer service. May assist in the preventive maintenance (daily checks), cleanliness and proper storage of all aircraft and FBO ground support equipment. Responsible for responding to customer concerns and complaints and provide solutions as necessary.
Additional duties are as follows but not limited to, cleaning of aircraft, Lavatory and Potable Water Servicing. Oxygen servicing. Cleaning of passenger’s personal vehicles and courtesy cars. Wing walking. De-icing. Minor maintenance and cleaning of ground equipment and fuel trucks. Provide shuttle service to and from airport, hotels, and restaurants as required.
Connect ground support equipment to aircraft. Assist customers with loading and unloading of baggage. Housekeeping to include: restrooms, hangars, assist the Customer Service Representative maintaining the lobby, conference room, and hallways appearance; this may include vacuuming, mopping, cleaning windows, dust, and wipe down counters as needed and removing trash. Limited building, equipment and yard maintenance. Snow removal.”
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Associate s degree in Business, Aviation Management or related field preferred.
Minimum one year of line service experience preferred.
Current valid driver s license, and meet all medical guidelines for Sanford Health Category II drivers.
