Description:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic senior Medicines Management Pharmacy technician with vision, and excellent organisational and management skills to provide professional and managerial leadership to our ward-based pharmacy technical service team.
In addition to excellent communication and leadership skills, you should be a pharmacy technician registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council, and have current experience of working within a ward based medicines management pharmacy technician in a senior role. Evidence of multi-disciplinary teamwork and project management is beneficial as is the experience of change management, strategic service development, and management of teams.

To manage and lead the ward-based pharmacy technical service. Main responsibilities include staff management, recruitment, selection, training and development of all grades of staff working within the pharmacy medicine management team.
To be responsible for all aspects of the operational management of the ward-based pharmacy technical service including the development of systems for service provision in line with departmental and Trust strategic objectives.
