Responsibilities:
As a Lead Network Planning Engineer you will design and analyze network components and architecture in support of the wireless and wire line infrastructure primarily through financial analysis.
These activities are the basis for optimizing carrier selection and capital deployment/allocation decisions. Key tasks would be:
- Conduct business case and financial modeling to drive Network cost savings
- Develops financial models for optimal carrier selection
- Creates deliverables such as management reports, business cases, infrastructure deployment guidelines
- Reviews carrier contract language
- Conduct network architecture design, feasibility and cost studies
- Recommends vendor strategy in support of corporate initiatives, customer demand, technology changes, economic and service reliability criteria
- Works with key internal stakeholder and vendors as a point of contact for future business ventures and emerging service
- Sound technical knowledge growing through application, expanding knowledge of ATT technologies
