WHAT IT’S ABOUT

As Lead Oversight Officer, you will coordinate the oversight program on internal and external service providers for Luxembourg and other jurisdictions, including timely execution of due diligence and other ongoing monitoring activities and ensuring quality and timeliness of service provider deliverables. In addition to daily operations, project management and change management will be a focus of this role.
You will have a key role in maintaining a robust oversight governance framework: ensuring adherence to prescribed outsourcing/delegation laws and regulations (AIFMD in particular), monitoring adherence to and assessing performance against contractual/agreed operational frameworks and promoting a partnering approach with our business partners.

Your typical day will see you working on wide range of diverse and dynamic tasks, including:

  • Owning, developing, and streamlining the Oversight service catalogue and ensuring proper execution thereof
  • Ensuring solid performance from our service providers in line with our expectations and taking appropriate remedial measures, including changes to the oversight approach where required
  • Leading the Oversight team effectively to achieve high levels of performance within the team, as well as building/developing the team for both personal and professional growth
  • Monitoring team KPIs and setting the pace within the team in fulfilling the service catalogue at the highest quality
  • Partnering with other key stakeholders across Partners Group to contribute to group-wide initiatives and to develop and implement the long-term global vision of Oversight; acting as change agent where processes require modification/enhancements, both at local and global level
  • Leading and participating in specific projects contributing to the overall operating efficiency/effectiveness of the Company’s operations
  • Keeping up with and implementing legal and regulatory developments in an efficient and streamlined manner
  • Leading due diligence visits and other key ongoing monitoring activities with service providers, ensuring proper documentation of such visits/activities, and ensuring adequate remedial actions are agreed and undertaken within pre-agreed timelines
  • Acting as point of escalation when issues arise
  • Reviewing oversight processes and procedures on a regular basis and ensuring these are kept up to date to reflect any changes to the legal and regulatory framework and general operating framework
  • Attending and contributing to boards and committee meetings
  • Attending and contributing to operational, audit and regulatory meetings as required
  • Analyzing and solving challenges beyond the strict remit of the oversight service catalogue
  • Providing well thought through inputs to the Regional Head Oversight/Conducting Officer to drive team rules and operational strategy
  • Handling requests from internal stakeholders and external stakeholders in a timely manner
