We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Lead Packager for 2nd shift. The Lead Packager will be responsible for overseeing packaging operations, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining a smooth workflow. You will:
- Supervise and lead packaging team members on second shift.
- Ensure accurate and efficient packaging of products according to company standards.
- Mark boxes of material with part numbers and job names.
- Move materials and items to designated areas.
- Assemble customer orders.
- Monitor quality control measures to guarantee the delivery of high-quality products to customers.
- Train and mentor packaging team members to enhance skills and performance.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Implement and improve packaging processes to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
- Communicate effectively with other shifts and departments to promote a cohesive work environment.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall company performance.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience in packaging or related roles.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and mentor a team.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality assurance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations.
- Flexibility to work the second shift.
- You must be able to routinely lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
