Lead Pharmacist - High-Cost Therapies Management & Homecare Services

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced pharmacist to lead, develop and manage systems to support high cost therapies and homecare management across the Trust. This involves working with the clinical, support service and management leads as well as external organisations to develop and maintain excellent prescribing and medicine supply systems, including the development of protocol and policy, training programmes and IT systems related to high cost therapies and medicines optimisation including digital services. In addition to the provision of strategic support, the post holder will be required to provide clinical practitioner support in medicines review clinics, lead and manage Pharmacy Service Level Agreements, work closely with Finance and Contract teams for financial reporting and analysis, and also line manage staff. As the post holder will be required to act with a high degree of autonomy, candidates will be required to demonstrate experience in managing pharmacy services, leading on service improvement and a track record of managing change.
