Our client is one of the world’s largest publicly traded engineering, procurement, construction (EPC) and maintenance companies, providing innovative EPC services to government and private-sector clients in diverse industries.
We are currently looking for a Lead Piping Designer to work on major mining projects across various commodities.

To Be Considered for the Role you must have:

  • Minimum 10 years of piping work-related experience
  • Perform 3D piping layout and equipment modeling of moderate to advanced complexity
  • Produces and check complex Piping drawings including plot plans, piping plans, isometrics and sketches
  • Provide assistance to construction and pipe fabrication personnel
  • Advanced knowledge of; 2D Computer Aided Design (CAD) and 3D CAD systems and procedures, Intergraph SmartPlant Review software, 3D modeling software (Intergraph SP3D), Piping design requirements (equipment arrangement, piping layout, stress requirements, and material requirements)
  • Working knowledge of and ability to interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID), update master P&ID and piping line list
  • Incorporate health, safety, and environmental factors in design
  • Review drawings and vendor equipment documentation of moderate to advanced complexity within the discipline and from other disciplines for compliance with project requirements, and actively seek discrepancy resolution
