We are looking for a Lead PMO Specialist to be responsible for creating, managing and maintaining data insights for our Portfolio and wider technology function, using expert knowledge of PowerBI.

Responsibilities:

YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR:

  • Leading portfolio assurance shaping data with senior management, providing oversight, insight and transparency to the Portfolio and leading continuous improvement to change delivery within Evri.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to create the vision of a Portfolio ecosystem between Microsoft Power Platform (PowerBI, PowerAutomate, PowerFlow, SharePoint), Atlassian (Jira, Confluence), Developer tools (GitHub, Jenkins) and ServiceNow.
  • Designing, developing, testing and maintaining visual reports, dashboards, & KPIs in Power BI, including custom visuals for specific data.
  • Integrating Power BI reports into other applications (SharePoint, Jira, Confluence) using embedded like Power BI service or API automation.
  • Working with other analysts and data engineers to identity and understand source data system & business requirements for solutions delivery.
  • Participating in investigation of new technology solutions and selection of new technologies, consult on requirements, building prototypes.
  • Implementing row level and RBAC security on data and productionise.
  • Writing SQL queries to connect to data sources.
  • Understanding business requirements and choose a data model that best fits user needs, customizing when needed.
  • Being responsible for automating Portfolio-level reporting for the executive forums.
  • Creating, maintaining and monitoring details captured in portfolio and programme planning and delivery stages, and present clear and concise portfolio updates to Governance Forums.
  • Working with the Project Finance team and FinOps to create, maintain and pro-actively monitor financial budgets for the portfolio.
  • Scrutinizing and analysing the financials to highlight any emergent challenges to capex and opex budget or trends which may result in budget variance requirements at project, programme and portfolio level.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for PMO by actively championing the use of the Portfolio Process, ways of working, tools and systems to ensure the adoption of best practice project management.
  • Monitoring and reporting on governance standards within the programmes and projects.
  • Providing coaching, mentoring and leadership of a team of PMO analysts supporting development, talent and progression

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL REQUIRE THE FOLLOWING…

  • 4yrs+ of Power BI Suite experience (Power query/M/DAX) delivering complex reports and dashboards;
  • Oracle SQL Server & MS SQL Server experience – ability to write complex queries;
  • Microsoft Power User experience - PowerApps, PowerAutomate, PowerFlow, SharePoint;
  • Working knowledge of Power Queries;
  • BS in computer science, information system or equivalent working experience;
  • Background in data warehouse design (e.g. dimensional modeling) and data mining;
  • Analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude;
  • Knowledge of Atlassian systems (Jira, Confluence) & interface with ability to integrate and interrogate as a data source.
  • Qualification in project management practices (Prince2, APM, PMI) or equivalent working experience
  • Qualification in Agile methodologies (SAFe Agile framework) or equivalent working experience.
