JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are looking for a seasoned data engineer and AI specialist with a minimum of 12 years of experience in the field. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing analytics, data engineering, and AI solutions within our organization, ensuring the effective extraction, translation, manipulation, and visualization of data using various IT tools and software. This role requires expertise and a strong background in designing, building, deploying, and managing data analytics and AI capabilities to help business users make better decisions.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on data extraction, translation, enrichment, and visualisation.
• Proficiency in Apache NiFi, Hop, and Airflow for data orchestration and pipeline management.
• Proficiency in Apache Superset and Microsoft Power BI for data visualisation.
• Experience with programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, Groovy, and SQL.
• Expertise in SQL and other database management systems.
• Experience in developing and deploying AI models and algorithms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with AWS data technologies such as S3, Redshift, Glue, EMR, and Lambda is a plus.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support analytics and reporting needs.
