Description:
As a Lead Process Engineer , you will lead teams of process engineers for assigned projects and studies. You will report to the Process Department Manager regarding forward manpower requirements and career development for your team. You will report to the Project Manager for their assigned project / study with timely delivery of reports, presentations, drawings, calculations and datasheets. You will work closely with engineers of other disciplines and the client to support them in making appropriate technical decisions for the project.
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will step up and into a dedicated, integrated client project team. You will balance technical, team, client, and project leadership across onshore gas plants (including LNG) and offshore gas and condensate production facilities and thrive on the challenge of:
- Working across a range of engineering projects at any phase including: - concept identification, selection and definition, FEED, detailed design/execute, commissioning and start-up, as-building, and closeout.
- Setting clear technical direction for any assigned direct reports on the project, including weekly goals for each member of the team.
- Representing the Process discipline in design reviews, HAZOPs, HazIDs and LOPA and have capability to facilitate such reviews.
In this highly visible client-facing role, your dual focus on relationships and delivery will be essential. Anticipating client needs beyond the immediate scope, you will drive technical excellence and assurance on the Process engineering portion, while enabling the ongoing growth and development of your team. You will also work in close partnership with other disciplines and the client to enable robust technical decisions that ultimately add value to the client and asset portfolio.
