Under the direction and leadership of Director Technical Services, the Lead Engineer, Process Technology will be responsible for leading or supporting the technical aspects of a diverse portfolio of development projects, new ventures, and partnerships, in close collaboration with business development, commercial, as well as project development teams. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of the Hydrogen, Ammonia and Sustainable Air Fuels businesses and the various licensors, technology players and their applicability for various business solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating business cases, conducting conceptual engineering activities, selecting appropriate technologies as well as optimizing process systems & designs.

Responsibilities:

Develop a foundational level understanding of technology and innovation trends in the areas of future growth and communicate in a timely manner to internal stakeholders.
Identify, evaluate, and select optimal technologies and facilities to meet stakeholders’ needs.
Work with a diverse group of support resources involving internal groups, affiliate companies, and external partners to support the development of new projects.
Collaborate with key stakeholders during project development, including safety, operations, and regulatory teams.
Develop and maintain long term development plans and communicate future potential to internal stakeholders.
Define technical requirements for new ventures, partnerships, and business expansion ideas. Act as a Technical Authority on process engineering and provide technical guidance to qualified members.
Ensure projects plans are developed in compliance with regulatory requirements, engineering standards & specifications, and operating practices.
Participate in various industry and regulator committees and provide technical guidance to the organization.
