THE ROLE:

As a Lead Product Designer at Trackunit, you will be working in the Platform portfolio and play an overall key role within our growing Product Organization. Your expertise in discovering, exploring, and defining both problems and solutions empowers our team at each stage of product development. As the Lead Product Designer for your portfolio, you will ensure that we consistently deliver genuine, tangible value to our customers, enhancing their experience with every interaction.
You will join a growing and profitable company of 400+ amazing people, and be part of the cross functional portfolio leadership team that includes leads from Engineering and Product Management.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Discovery and Research – conduct research to get deep insights on customer/user pain points and needs; synthesise pain points and help others in the team to internalise and empathise customer perspectives.
• Problem space definition – work with Product Management and Engineering to define user problems and needs to solve and jointly turn problems into scoped product requirements and later solutions.
• Solution space definition – identify opportunities to solve; create concept wireframes and prototypes; incorporate feedback into the design solutions; create process flow diagrams for flows and processes.
• Product Definition – design high-fidelity mock-ups and prototypes; conduct cross-functional team refinement and feedback; create hand-off with design specs and thorough documentation for delivery to engineers.
• Product Testing – conduct usability tests and refine the product to build; be available to answer questions for engineers during development and test solutions in QA and design review.
• Portfolio Design Lead – lead design in our “New Manager Offerings” and “OEM & SCP” portfolios contributing to road map planning and strategic direction.
