Job Description
Due to Renishaw now selling a wider range of standalone software, we are seeking a Product Marketing Engineer to take responsibility for marketing of our MODUS industrial metrology products.
As a Product Marketing Engineer at Renishaw, you’ll hold responsibility for defining market position, pricing, and promotion of the product line along with managing its market adoption and product life cycle. The vast majority of our products are sold outside the UK through our global network of subsidiary offices, and as such the role has the potential to be diverse and exciting. The role may require travel overseas.

Responsibilities

  • Market Analysis for the Product line
  • Work with the Product Manager and Product Owners to define the product specifications and act as the customer representative to ensure requirements are met.
  • Help define and develop marketing, pricing and sales strategies for new and existing products.
  • Monitoring of product sales performance.
  • Oversee product launch activity.
  • Collaborate with Marcomms departments to drive effective marketing promotions

Key requirements

  • A higher education qualification in technical, engineering or commercial discipline
  • Previous sales, marketing, or technical experience in an engineering related field

Desirable requirements

  • Knowledge of Manufacturing and Inspection processes

Person specification
The successful applicant will be well organised and self-motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision. They will also have effective decision-making and analytical skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate at all levels are essential.
