YOUR FUTURE ROLE

Take on a new challenge and apply your Project Planning expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll report to the Asset Planning Manager, and work alongside a close-knit team of Planning and Project Management professionals. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth delivery of several modification projects to our NGR fleet of trains and Depot upgrades. This role has the ability to be based at either our QLD office in Milton, or at our Depot in Wulkuraka. However, you will be required to travel between the two sites from time to time.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Developing and updating schedules for multiple projects.
  • Compiling and evaluating time-related data from all available sources, effectively communicating the results in various formats.
  • Generating effective scenarios to achieve On Time Delivery (OTD) targets.
  • Advising the team on time-related contractual disputes.
  • Influencing the development and alignment of project stakeholders’ schedules.
  • Developing and managing documentation for projects and company-wide scheduling processes.

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to solve complex problems and manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience with planning tools and software, ideally SAP and Primavera P6.
  • Significant experience in a similar role as a senior Project Planner.
  • Experience in rolling stock design and production (or similar) will be highly regarded
