Responsibilities:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Regulatory Relations Specialist for the Internal Audit Regulatory Relations team, which works across the entire Internal Audit (IA) division. This team of nine supports the regulatory engagement efforts of each team across Internal Audit, covering the entire Wells Fargo operations. This individual will also work across the Internal Audit Chief Administrative Office to drive expanded reporting, create process efficiencies, and assist with managing aspects of IA operations.
In this role, you will:
- Collaborate and consult with members of the internal audit Regulatory Relations team as well as leaders across the Internal Audit division
- Create reporting, track and monitor issues, create executive meeting materials, and update Internal Audit Polices, Procedures, and job aids, as appropriate
- Assist with regulatory relations initiatives as well as those impacting broader IA operations, including but not limited to human capital, budget, third-party vendor management, and business resiliency
- Drive accountability for assigned initiatives, limit risk exposure, and create efficiencies as appropriate
- Make decisions in highly complex and multifaceted situations requiring solid understanding of Internal Audit annual planning processes and structure, facilitate decision making and issue resolution, and support implementation of developed solutions and plans
- Influence, guide and lead less experienced Strategy and Execution staff within the group
