Lead SAP PP/ QM Consultant

INFOSYS IS SEEKING A LEAD SAP PP /QM CONSULTANT

As Lead Consultant, you will be contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in business process consulting; you will define the problem, propose and create the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology
• U.S. Citizens and those citizens and those authorized to work in the U.S. are encouraged to apply. We are unable to sponsor at this time.
• This position may require travel to project /Client’s location

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• 8+ years of SAP delivery & configuration experience with multiple full life cycle implementations in the areas of SAP QM & PP-PI.
• Functional/Technical proficiency with at least 3 full lifecycle SAP implementations and 2 years of industry (PP-PI/QM domain preferable) and/or consulting experience.
• Hands-on design, configuration and implementation knowledge of SAP PP-PI/QM/DM and workflow management in a global landscape.
• Extensive experience of Custom Developments/enhancements and interfaces.
• Experience with SAP interface with LIMS applications.
• Strong knowledge in QM - both functional and technical in areas like Quality Inspections, Notifications, Batch Management, Equipment calibration, Physical samples, Multiple specification, Stability analysis, CofA, Workflow management, apart from all basic QM functionalities in SAP with respect to QM in production, procurement, and sales.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ECC QM Integration points with MM, PP-PI, SD, WM, and other modules.
• Knowledge of ECC Planning functions and integration with APO modules.
• Knowledge of business process for end-to-end solution for product labeling, artwork and packaging using SAP notifications and Document info records and interface with external document repository systems.
• Good hands-on knowledge of SAP DMS, SAP workflow and SAP PP-PI knowledge with material master, BOM and recipes.
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience of interface with external systems for data transfers and reporting.
• Ability to work independently, effectively coordinating multiple priorities in a dynamic and changing environment and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Experience in international environments with co-existence of global accounting and local statutory needs.
• Extensive experience in several of the following areas: (Standard process for PP-PI)
• MRP and Detailed Scheduling
• Make-to-Stock Production - Process Industry
• Make-to-Stock Production - Discrete Industry
• Make-to-Order and Assemble-to-Order production.
• Repetitive Manufacturing
• Variant Configuration
• Shop Floor Controls and Capacity Planning
• Quality Planning, Inspection, Certification and Quality Notifications
• Quality Control and Audit Management
• Returns Planning
• Inventory Planning / Optimization
• Product Subcontracting
• Rough Cut Capacity Planning (RCCP)

• Experience with APO RCCP / PPDS functionality will be an added advantage.

• Experience with implementation in the pharmaceutical, life science business and knowledge of the GxP is a big plus.
• S4/Hana Experience for Manufacturing and Quality Solutions preferred.
  This job may entail extensive travel. The job may also entail sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Candidates should be able to effectively communicate by telephone, email or face to face.
