Description:
You will be working with an MMO game developer and publisher built around a collective of hackers and designers in pursuit of the next great paradigm shift in the video game industry.
Responsibilities
- Create concept art and high-quality 2D assets for characters, vehicles and environments in a stylized anime aesthetic
- Create visual mockups to communicate game ideas
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and maintain the artistic vision for various projects
- Provide constructive feedback to the art team and help them achieve their potential
- Participate actively in project planning and creative brainstorming sessions
- Be able to troubleshoot and solve artistic issues that arise during production
REQUIREMENTS
- 8+ years of experience in the video game industry
- Proven experience as a 2D artist in the game industry, with demonstrated success in an anime aesthetic
- Proficiency with industry-standard design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and After Effects
- Strong knowledge of composition, color theory, and layout
- Demonstrated ability to create expressive, stylized characters and environments in an anime style
- Mastery of time management to adhere to schedules and deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
