DESCRIPTION

Assists with the performance of a variety of technical procedures including but not limited to the scrub and monitor roles in percutaneous diagnostic and interventional cardiac/vascular procedures and open surgical procedures under the direct supervision of a physician. Participates in all daily duties necessary to perform high-quality patient care and imaging within the Cardiac Cath Lab. Responsible for obtaining optimal angio images and assisting the physician in an aseptic and sterile environments.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Two-year invasive cardiovascular program Or
• Successful completion of a formal Radiologic Technologist program
• Upon hire: Washington Radiologic Technologist Or
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• 6 months Tier 1 technologist in order to advance to Tier 2
• 2 years Continuous cath lab in a busy cath lab performing complex cases

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Interventional Radiology
• May consider less experience in an aspiring motivated candidate with RCIS licensure
