Responsibilities:

  • Lead software architectural design and development of the product. Define enterprise architecture in consultation with product owners, engineers, other architects, and product management.
  • Direct implementation and decide on overall direction for software development approach and technologies in consideration of business objectives.
  • Evaluate and define the functional and non-functional requirements of the system architecture to ensure the compatibility, compliance and reuse of components and their interaction with other products.
  • Drive technical decisions together with the development teams and other architects.
  • Plan, direct and support the implementation of the reference architecture and review code and components.
  • Develop implement and ensure correct processes and infrastructure in place for product engineering tasks in line with EASA 21G operations.
  • Support requirements management (definition of domains, impact on existing architecture).
  • Select and use tools and frameworks to support the processes defined.
  • Evaluate new technologies and approaches, define standards and guidelines to be implemented.
