DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS
Duties: Develop fully autonomous software test automation to validate functionality and business process. Collaborate with developers and business systems analysts to identify meaningful tests for automation. Develop practical standards and reference implementations for automation using the automation toolset, maintain a library of test automation for existing application and develop tools to assist in the testing and development of application. Run manual testing and/or software development when necessary. Work with DevSecOps engineers and systems reliability engineers to define best practices for test automation and validation of non-functional requirements within continuous integration/continuous deployment flows. Investigate, diagnose and repair problems, test bugs and create and manage bug reports. Innovate and improve the testing process to gain efficiencies. Conduct testing and test automation reviews developed by agile teams and agile release trains. Coach and mentor junior engineers.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MIS or Computer Engineering (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus (7) seven years of experience performing software engineering, development and design. Specific skills/other requirements (quantitative experience requirement not applicable to this section) - must possess the following: conducting complex test automation and test data management; developing software test automation using Selenium framework, IBM Rational Test Workbench, Cucumber, Gherkin or TOSCA; investigating, diagnosing, and repairing problems on various platforms, including mobile, web, services, back-end applications, batch applications, cloud, cloud-native and big data; and performing testing and test automation reviews using Agile Software Delivery. Hybrid-3 days in office/2 days remote.
