About the opportunity..
Are you ready to take on a pivotal role in our engineering team? Do you have a passion for solving complex technical problems and driving innovation? We are seeking a skilled Technical Lead Engineer to join our dynamic team and lead the charge in technical excellence. Reporting directly to the Engineering Manager, the Technical Lead Engineer plays a dual role, combining individual technical expertise with team leadership responsibilities. As a technical expert, you will guide and mentor team members, solve intricate technical challenges, and contribute to the development of high-quality, scalable software products. Additionally, you will lead the team in aligning technical solutions with business objectives and reducing technical debt.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of experience with agile/scrum methodology
  • Advanced knowledge of backend technologies such as PHP or Node
  • Advanced knowledge of relational database technologies such as MySQL/PostgreSQL
  • Experience working with front end technologies such as React
  • Experience working with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB
  • Familiarity with AWS and/or Google Cloud
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable code following SOLID Principles
  • Experience with automated testing and unit tests
  • Proficiency in code versioning tools such as GIT
