Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Lead Software Engineer in Charlotte, NC.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field and five years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving software engineering experience.

Specific skills required:

  • 5 years of software engineering experience;
  • 5 years of experience on Java, Spring, Spring MVC, XML, JSON, RESTful services, Micro Services, JDBC, JPA, Unit Test Framework;
  • 5 years’ experience with SQL Server database or a combination of SQL Server and Oracle databases;
  • 5 years’ experience in J2EE architecture and design patterns;
  • 3 years’ experience with UI development using Angular/Vue/React JS;
  • 3 years’ experience with Azure and/or Pivotal Cloud Foundry Cloud platforms;
  • 2 years’ experience in Financial Industry Risk and Compliance areas.

Responsibilities:

Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact. Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines. Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs. Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors. Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives. Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals. Telecommuting is permitted up to 3 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.
