Wells Fargo Bank N.A. seeks a Lead Software Engineer in Charlotte, NC.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, or related technical field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related position involving Software Engineering experience.
Specific skills required:
- REST, C++, Jenkins, Software development, SQL experience;
- 2 years of Blue Prism Robotic Process Automation (RPA) development experience;
- 3 years of UiPath Robotic Process Automation (RPA) development experience;
- Artificial Intelligence based Automation development experience;
- 1 year experience with Document Understanding and Extraction tools;
- 1 year experience with DevOps; and
- 1 year experience with SAAS applications.

Responsibilities:
Drive delivery of new automated processes as well as manage the changes required for the automations for our Wells Fargo Technology team. Expected to lead the development and level 3 support of business process automation built in BluePrism 6.3 and UiPath 2022.x along leveraging Document Understanding, and AI. The individual would be responsible for Performance optimization of the robotic process automations by following operational procedures for maintaining technology as required. They would act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines. Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs. Additionally, they would engage in review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors. They would also make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives. They would also be collaborating and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals. They are also expected to ensure consistency and synchronization across various builds, delivered codes and updated information on all the changes in progress. While they troubleshoot and solution production issues raise by either end user/automated monitors, they would also drive the strategic and tactical roll-out of the solution to enterprise customers by creating and documenting test procedures and scenarios. Additionally, they would participate in project planning, communicate identified project risks and issues to the delivery/project manager and provide inputs to the change control process. Telecommuting is permitted up to 2 days a week. Position must appear in person to the location listed as the work address.
