We are currently looking for Lead Structural Engineers to join our team based in our Brisbane office to support recent business success and growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Generate and review technical documents and deliverables related to business line technologies.
  • Prepare specifications, design criteria, scope of work and material take-off.
  • Ensure Engineering Discipline Deliverables are completed according to standards, checked, approved prior to issue.
  • Prepare engineering proposals and monitor budgets, staying within the assigned budget and report any discrepancies.
  • Coordinate the activities of a project team to ensure time and budget objectives are achieved.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with the Engineering Manager and regularly inform of technical activities, staffing, budgets and schedules and explain reasons for actions taken.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of the Engineering Group to deliver best practice technical solutions and implementation by applying knowledge of industry developments and from experience.
  • Communicate effectively with clients to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions.
  • Lead and develop small team and train in new process and procedures.
